    Daisy is a Plott Hound with a happy personality. She's very alert and loves her human friends, very loyal. She weighs 39lbs. very athletic, and a good hunter. House broken and kennel trained. She prefers to be outside,not so much at night though.Playing is her thing. Daisy loves a good car ride, and is very good on a leash. We resued Daisy @ 5 weeks of age because a ruthless person dumped her off on our road dehydrated and uncared for. With lots of love and care she has been a very fine friend. She needs a good home, lots of running room, and hunting duties. Daisy is 11 1/2 months old. We have 3 geriatric dogs and Daisy being a puppy, she's ... (Read More)to energetic for them.     The Plott Hound is named after Jonathan Plott, who developed the breed in the mid-eighteenth century. A Plott Hound can stand up to a bear. Plotts are the only dog breed original to North Carolina. Plotts are very rare outside of the southeastern U.S.
