    Special needs dog seeks forever home! This gorgeous hound was dumped on a roadside starving, but is now healthy and playful. She has been in foster care for almost 2 years and is in desperate need of a permanent home. She is about 3 years old and has boundless energy. She is good with other dogs and probably cats. Extra has some defensive aggression issues due to having suffered extreme abuse in her previous home, but those issues have been steadily improving. She needs an owner who is both strict and kind, as she needs a lot of training and further socialization. She also has some food sensitivities. She would do best in a home with a large ... Plotts are great with children. The Plott Hound is best suited to life in the country, and makes a fine outside dog. Plotts need plenty of vigorous daily exercise.
