Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Sweet gentle Zoey needs an adopter. She was dumped at a kill shelter and we don't know why. She is just the sweetest thing. She is crate and mostly potty trained although any dog coming into a new home will need to be told the rules of the house. She sits gently for treats and loves to play ball but what she really wants is to follow around her people and just hang out. She doesn't seem to be a barker and runs and walks well on a leash. She is young at 8 months and weighs about 40 pounds. She is going to stay a medium girl. She has the best smile and will love you forever. I know the pictures says 'Otter' but her real name was 'Zoey'. She ... Rescue Me ID: 14-08-30-00012Max (male)

Plott Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Max is a gorgeous, sweet boy looking for his forever home! He is good with both cats and dogs, but would also be content being the only animal in the home. He really just wants love and attention from his people! He is neutered, potty trained, and is able to be left out in the home during the day. He is very calm, laid back, and loves to lie on the couch and receive attention. We had been feeding Max on the streets for almost a year when another dog in his pack was diagnosed and treated for TVT. TVT is a canine transmissible venereal tumor. It is basically a sexually transmitted cancer in dogs. After we pulled and treated 2 from his ... (Read More)pack, we noticed Max had a tumor on his penis. Unfortunately, we were financially maxed out and could not afford treatment (estimated anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000). We watched as his tumor grew and became concerned that it would eventually block off his urethra, causing his bladder to swell and rupture, a slow, painful death that we were not about to watch him go through. We decided the best option was to euthanize before he could reach that point. We posted one last plea and amazingly, Max's guardian angel stepped forward to fully fund his treatment and foster him until he has found his forever home. Max has responded very well to the chemotherapy and is cancer free! He really deserves a loving forever home! Please email us at BlueBelleRescue@gmail.com if you are interested! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-29-00433Madison (female)

Plott Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

You can meet Madison at Petco Saturday from 1:30-5:30 located at 4001 W. Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington Texas The first thing to strike you about Madison is her incredibly beautiful coat full of fawn and chocolate brindles. The second thing is the soulful expression in her eyes. This is a dog who will gaze at you with the full force of her personality until you bend to her will, grab a ball, and take her outside. Why a ball? Because Madison is a maniac for the Game of Fetch. When Madison isn't forcing you to perfect your pitching arm, her favorite thing to do is lie on the rug with a chewy. She prefers to be near enough that she can lean ... (Read More)into your legs, but she isn't at all clingy, and has shown no interest in climbing onto the furniture. Madison prefers the company of people to that of dogs, and her behavior toward her foster-brothers is polite disinterest. She'll play enthusiastically for a short amount of time, but isn't the tireless tumbler that many pets are. She is not at all aggressive, but will make it clear that she is the dog in charge. Madison is crate trained and has been doing well in the house. She walks well on a leash, but is very strong, so a harness is advised for easier control. She is protective of her toys and bones, and will warn other dogs away, but is extremely relaxed with people. While Madison is not particularly large, she is incredibly muscular. For this reason, we do not recommend her for families with small children Her adoption includes all vaccinations, worming, rabies vaccination, spay, heartworm neg, microchip including registration. Animal ID: GGS2R75McCray (male)

Plott Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered

McCray is a confident laid back playful friendly puppy that is good with cats, dogs and kids, men and woman. He is estimated to be born around June 25, 2014. He currently weights 16 lbs as of 8/27/2014. He loves chewing on a dog bone, playing with rope toys and his mini tennis ball. He bats the mini tennis ball around with his paws. He is doing fabulous in the house training department. He has been letting his foster mom know he needs to potty by whining. When she is at work he used the puppy pad. He is not in a crate yet, since the 8 hour shifts his foster mom works would force McCray to potty in his crate and that is exactly what we do not ... (Read More)want him to learn. He is not physically able to hold it that long yet. So he is currently in her huge master bathroom with a huge dog bed, toys, puppy pad, food and water. He has not chewed anything up becuase his foster mom sets him up for success by making sure only his things he can chew on are in his reach. He was rescued on 8/25/2014 from Eugene McCray Park at Lake Arlington after a concerned citizen called his now foster mom to report a car had driving into the park opened the door and droppped a puppy off and drove away. If you have questions about McCray please contact Gayla by text 682-227-4240 or ggwiths2r@gmail.com His adoption includes age appropriate vaccinations, worming, rabies vaccination, neuter, microchip including registration. Rescue Me ID: 14-08-27-00319Arnold (male)

Plott Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Arnold! This striking pup is just now learning all the wonderful things that come with living indoors and leaving behind life on the streets! Arnold was found wandering the roads of the Corridor with his brothers, Willis and Nemo, when our volunteers rescued this handsome trio. He has such a unique coat and people comment on this constantly. Arnold is about 1.5 years old, 40 pounds and has a medium energy level. He is currently boarding with our friends out at K&M Canines where he is learning how to socialize with people, other dogs, kitties and horses! It is clear that he was not loved upon and socialized properly to this world ... (Read More)because he is quite shy. We know that he warms up to people, but it just takes him a little while to trust and understand that people can be good. He has already made great progress. So far, Arnold has learned that he LOVES tasty treats and he will do just about anything for one. He loves being in the company of other dogs and will need to have a doggy sibling in his new family because he is more of a follower and enjoys a confident companion. His new buddy will be able to help him adjust to his new environment once he is part of a new family. Arnold LOVES to play and he will leap across the yard after a toy. He really enjoys playing with the bouncy balls and he will dance around with one after he has caught it. He is a friendly boy despite his personality being hesitant to meeting new people. We always introduce him to the newbies slowly along with his favorite treats and that does the trick every time. Arnold is already crate-trained and housebroken, but he is still learning the ropes of being an indoor dog, so we are working on training him to know which items are toys and which are not. He is still learning his sit, stay, settle commands but with the help of a patient new owner and treats for motivation, it won't be long before Arnold is the perfect gentleman. This fella is already neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and just recently finished up treatment for heartworms. Other than being a shy guy, he is more than ready to get into his home, get comfortable and bring on the love. If you can provide a home for Arnold, please fill out an adoption application at www.corridorrescue.org under the adoption tab. Please contact corridorrescueadopt@gmail.com with any questions.     Perry needs a home to call his own! He is approx 18 mos old, super sweet, heartworm negative, house trained, microchipped, neutered, up to date on routine vaccinations and preventatives. Good with other dogs, unknown w/cats or kids, though with his energy level, goofiness, and size, he could easily knock down toddlers. He is quite pudgy (due to improper diet by previous foster mom) and on a diet...is losing weight and looking better :) He could be considered somewhat high energy at times, would be awesome with an active family to let him play & run it off.     Hi! My name is Leroy and I am looking for a home that will give me lots of love (and toys!!) I am super sweet and love to give kisses and love to be cuddled. My foster mom has been great to me and rescued my mother from a city park just in time for her to give birth here at home. I am a 1 1/2 year old Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever with a beautiful brown brindle coat and a white chest. I don't mind sharing stuff with another dog! In fact, I would love to a big brother or sister or even a kid or two to play with. All I ask is a little love, a head scratch, some walks and food. I am crate, potty and house trained. I love to play ... (Read More)chase and splash around in the water and play with the water hose. I'm just a fun guy and I will make you very happy. I am also a loyal dog, sometimes I follow my foster mom around trying to help her clean the house but I'm a little clumsy and she laughs at me. If you are interested in meeting me, please call my foster mom at (210) 827-6524 or email her at smichalczak@hotmail.com. (Less)

This is Jep. He is a 1 yr old, neutered male, & Utd on shots. Jep is good with other similar size dogs, but barks at the smaller dogs. He loves kids, men & women, not cat tested. Jep is still young so he has LOTS of energy. He has an interesting look and we do not know what breed to call him. The pound from which we pulled him, had him listed as a 'retriever mix' (?)

Okay, so you think my ears are silly? Just wait until you get close and can see my underbite!! Well, that is just my personality; I'm a playful, silly clown so I'm glad I've got these ears and chompers. My dark brindle coat is worth noting too. I'm soft and my coloring is pretty unique. My mom was a stray in the Corridor and she was rescued and 5 days later she had me and my 4 siblings. I was a lucky pup that I never really had to live out there as a stray, but I wasn't born into a loving family, except for my mom and these nice rescue people. One of the many cool things about me is that I'm a rescue, but you'll actually know my real ... (Read More)birthday. It's July 7th, 2011! Will you throw me a birthday party next year? Anyway, so here's my story. I was the biggest boy in my litter and super cute (that seems to have stuck), so naturally I was adopted immediately into a family and stayed with them for nearly 2.5 years, but they realized that I deserved better because their schedules were way too hectic and they didn't have the time to give me all the attention I wanted. I was returned in July 2014 as a big boy, but really hurting for some attention and discipline. I'm currently living with the dog trainer at her facility and I'm happy again. She's introduced me to lots of friends that I can play with, chase and enjoy. I'm learning a lot here too, but I still really want to be back in a family. Abe LOVES play time and leash time with his people and the dogs, but he's also affectionate. He's an active guy and is obviously looking for a dedicated family that will take him on their adventures and allow for some cuddles too. He's completely healthy and has never had any health issues. He's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, adorable, silly and fun. He's great with all people, kids and pets, so he's just a shoo-in to be your next pup. We hope to get it right this time for Abe, so he can know true love. To adopt or foster Abe, please fill out an application at www.corridorrescue.org under the foster or adoption tab. Plott Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Hip Dysplasia

April's brindle and white coat is certainly an eye catcher and her personality is a heart catcher! She's got it all, beauty and sweetness all in one doggy package. April was rescued out of the Corridor and although we generally see a lot of nervous and terrified pups coming out of there, April knew that was her BIG day. She was playing with her rescuers and even rolled over for some belly rubs. She was celebrating her freedom ride out of that place before it even started. She's a very smart lady and knew that a better life was ahead. The hobbies that our girl enjoys include leash walks, HUGGING her humans, snuggling, playing outside ... (Read More)in the yard, belly rubs and taking naps. She's the perfect blend of playful and restful. April is considered medium size, but is a taller and slender girl. She's very adaptable to her surroundings and quite neutral, so we feel she would be perfect with any type of family, single person or large family with/without many children and pets. She's respectful of people's space, but her hugs are very sweet and meaningful. She's a loyal, affectionate lady grateful for a second chance at life. This beauty is now healthy, loved and STILL as happy today as she was the day they told her it was her turn to start over! She's been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. The only piece of her puzzle that is missing is a family to give her hugs to and to admire her loyal personality. If you need a hug that will last forever, please consider making April your daily hug dispenser. She wants nothing more than to have that title. To foster or adopt April, please go to www.corridorrescue.org and submit a foster or adoption application online. If you have any questions, please email corridorrescueadopt@gmail.com Thank you!     Meet gentle Ty. That look can melt a heart and his story will break it. Ty came in to rescue in abhorant condition; he was completely hairless, covered in two types of mange and he was under weight. And there were no pads left on his little feet from running the streets all summer. Poor baby was so scared of people he just froze if touched. With a few meds and lots of TLC, Ty's body is healed but he understandably remains is little shy.
