Charlie is one lucky Hound! He found a wonderful family who live in the country and will take him to work and on hikes. With four kids, Charlie will never be lonely. Additionally, Charlie is heartworm positive so this lovely family is even willing to go the extra miles to care for him through his treatment. I'm so happy for them all. Thank you!1

This young pup has found an awesome home through Rescue Me. I had very high expectations for whoever would be adopting her and this family exceeded them all! This sweet dog could not have found a better home. She now has a loving home and I know she will bring much joy to them as well. Thank you Rescue Me!

I posted two pups who had been dumped on our road. A man called me to adopt them. One of the dogs, especially, reminded him of his dog that passed away a few years ago. He was very happy to find a new best friend. His sister is adopting the other pup. Thank you, Rescue Me!

I had impossibly high expectations for the home I wanted to find for Jasmine. I was sure I would have to settle, but, as it turned out, the home that found Jasmine exceeded my expectations. She now has a loving home, has a dog buddy to live with, freedom to run and explore and hunt to her heart's content. Jasmine is a very lucky dog. This is a success story not just for the dog, but for the people involved as well. Thank you, Rescue Me.

I was lucky enough to find sweet Scarlett. Animal Services did a wonderful job caring for her. She was so friendly, it didn't take long before she was in the car, driving home, ears flapping in the wind! She is a happy, well adjusted girl who, with only a little training and lots of cuddles, has settled down after being moved from shelter to shelter, to become one of the family. (She likes cats too!) Thank you Rescue Me, for providing an easy, convenient method of locating pets available for adoption. :)

We found our dear Plott a very good home through Rescue Me. She is with a family with three boys. She is a house dog. The new owner is at home all day. She is also going to obedience school. Her new name is Aubie for the Auburn University mascot. Great but we are Alabama fans. We still love her anyway. Thank y'all for asking about her.

We are so fortunate to have met our little pup through the good graces of the Pranski family. His name is Rocky and he is a beautiful little brindle pup. We had lost our beloved dog Smokey after fourteen wonderful years and were lost. Our five year old dog Tiger was mopey and knew something big was gone. So after seeing Rocky's picture on Rescue Me's Plott Rescue and talking back and forth with the Pranski family, and reassuring them that we would love and take good care of this great pup, we all decided to try it out... They went as far as driving more than halfway in a driving rain to meet us and our Plott mix Tiger. Everything went well and with a heartfelt goodbye to Rocky, which had to have been so sad for them, we were off with little Rocky and big ole Tiger. These are honest, good people and I challenge anyone who differs. They vet the prospective adoptive owners and this is proof of only wanting the best for a helpless little guy. All has been so wonderful between the two dogs, I believe it was fate. Rocky is your typical annoying little brother with a healthy dose of rough and tumble play and Tiger loves him so much and is so gentle and patient with Rocky. We are proud of them both. We have become fast friends and love Linda and Mike and their beautiful children, and we cannot imagine life without Rocky. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts Mike and Linda, and thank you to Rescue Me's Plott Rescue!

We adopted a wonderful little dog named Rocky through the Plott Hound section of Rescue Me! The owners, Mike and Linda Pranski, were the most gracious and caring people we have ever met. The made sure the little guy was going to go to a home where he would be able to romp and play and be loved and cared for as much as they did. The whole experience was awesome. They even purchased a beautiful Florida Gators collar, leash and stainless steel name tag! The dog was a happy, healthy, and sweet guy and I know it was hard for Mike and Linda to part with him. You just knew the minute meeting them that they were good, honest people. They have a great family and raised a confident and healthy young dog who just fit right into our home. He brought a lot of happiness to our older dog whose best buddy past away. We can't thank the Pranski family enough for letting him into our lives. Rescue Me! is a great way to save a dog, find a dog, and help fill your home with love. Thank you, Michael Armstrong

We found Enzo a great home. He is living a happy life, and good thing, because he is great dog. A typical, sweet Plott Hound.

A young man found Georgia on 'Rescue Me!' and we witnessed them falling instantly in love with one another! She now lives on some land with him and his parents, and the last time we heard they went berry picking and swimming at the river together! Thank you so much! Best, Dani Tubman

We saw Bubba on Rescue Me's Plott Rescue site. He was marked urgent. Highland Animal Control were very helpful in moving the adoption forward. After visiting him at the pound we decided to bring him home. He is housebroken and very well mannered. With our one acre fenced yard, Bubba has plenty of room. He walks on a leash without tugging. Bubba immediately became friends with our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. He has been with us three days and we are are very happy. Rescue Me's Plott Rescue saved his life and enriched ours. Bill

I listed Boone late on 11/29 and I got an email first thing on 11/30 asking about him from some wonderful people that were on the coast of North Carolina. Do you know they drove 6 hours today (12/1) across the state to come and adopt Boone. His name is now Beauregard (we almost called him that) and he took to his new owners right away and he's going to have such a great life. In the near future they are moving from their coastal home in Wilmington, NC to their 35-acre farm in West Virginia. I'm so glad that Rescue Me! was here to help us. Thank you.

Stew found his new home thanks to your website! After a year of trying to find him a home I found your website, posted his picture and within a month he was adopted. I even had a few more people interested right after he was Adopted. He is now living on a 14 acre farm and is loving it. I will definitely recommend this site to others. Thanks for your help. :)

This lucky Plott Hound found his forever family after I posted on Rescue Me. Plott Hound rescue put out an urgent notice to someone who had been looking for a Plott Hound for some time and she contacted me. It didn't take much time for her to know this gentle guy was the one for her. A week and a half later, he flew to his new home near Seattle! I have to thank everyone involved in saving this boy. He is wonderful and everyone who meets him falls in love! If it wasn't for my current living situation, I would have kept him myself and added to the clan of 5 cats and 1 dog!

Thanks JEFF i listed 2 dogs the male found a great home The male went to the grandson of the man i purchased Sally Mae from. She is still a sweet dog so i decided to keep her. When my torn Achilles tendons heal I can then dedicate our exercise time with her. She cried for a while when the male left but is ok now. P.s. The male dog gave me a big hug and kiss before he left. I get weekly updates on him and have visitation rights. I love my dogs. H.HUGHES

I liked your site because it was very breed specific and not as 'busy' as Petfinder. I also liked the geographic locator of where the dogs were. Montgomery was adopted!... I plan on using rescueme.org for the next foster dog we take in. I will also let others know about the site. Thank you for your interest! Diana
